Four HPCA players selected for Under-19 national team

Four junior players of Himachal, Ankush Bains, Ekant Sen, P.S. Jaswal and Arjun Sharma are selected for the Under-19 Zonal team, they will play against South Zone at Indore.

“It’s a proud moment for Himachal as four youngsters from the state has been chosen to represent the Zone,”  said Anurag Thakur, president HPCA. Elaborating this news, he said that as HPCA is committed to provide world class facilities and training to Himachal cricketers, the results of this effort have started coming up. He said,  “Now our team and people have been consistently performing at the highest level. Ankush and Ekant are really talented and we look forward to the day when they will perform well for the Zone and nation and will make us all proud.”

Anurag said, “All this has been possible due to the infrastructure and facilities created over last 13 years . The day is not far when more people from Himachal would be donning the national colors. We are building good cricket facilities, stadiums, academies and also recruiting good coaches for the proper grooming of the abundant raw talent available in the state and if our vision takes shape, Himachal would soon be one of the leading states in the game.”
