Former BJP rule imparted benefit of Rs. 1370 crore to employees

Opposition party BJP in the state today claimed that it had imparted benefits of more than Rs. 1370 crore to state employees while the present Congress rule is shunning of its responsibility towards this section.

State unit of BJP today issued a rebuttal over chief minister Virbhadra Singh’s statement made yesterday that latter was not able to impart benefits to state employees as state exchequer was bankrupt by the last rule.

Party spokesman in a press statement issued here today alleged that 10 months old rule of Congress remained highly disappointing and suffocating to the working classes as they were being neglected after not giving them single benefit.

Charging the state government to run away from its responsibility towards giving allowances to employees he said that it could not shun from its accountability as after taking charge it did not fulfill even single promise made to employees in the election.

The government announcements and its implementations are perpetual process, Congress could not run away from its responsibility after blaming the last rule in the state, BJP argued.

Reminding the election promise of Congress party to implement 4-9-14 years promotion scale to employees, Mr. Ganesh Dutt said that as BJP rule had agreed to give it since 2009 onwards but Congress mislead them after not ready to implement it even from 2012.

Terming the state government actions illusionary BJP leader said that Congress rule could not defend it after blaming the last rule, which had always maintained cordial relations with employees.
