Monsoon lashes few parts of Himachal Pradesh

South West Monsoon was normal in the state as few parts of the state got moderate to heavy rainfall.

Abode of Tibetan Spiritual leader Dalai Lama, Dharamshala had highest 164 mm rain followed by Dharampur in Mandi district had 31 mm, Bangana and Una 16 mm each. Shimla got only 10 mm rain, Mandi 8 mm, Solan 6 mm, Bharmaur in Chamba and Gaggal airport 3 mm and Jubbarhatti airport got 6 mm rain.

The Maximum temperature of Shimla was 23.5 degrees Celcius, Sundernagar 31.7 degrees, Bhuntar 33.4 degrees, Kalpa in Kinnaur 25.4 degrees, Dharamshala 27.6 degrees, Una 34.6 degrees, Solan and Nahan 28 degrees each and Manali 24.8 degrees.

The Met office warned of heavy rainfall in few parts of the state during next 24 hours while rain or thundershowers in most places in the plains and middle hills and few parts in the high reaches.
