HPCA to host first One Day International at Dharamshala

Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium situated in the lap of Dhauladhar ranges in Dharamshala is going to host first ODI on Jan 27, 2013 between India and England.

HPCA president and  MP Mr. Anurag Thakur said that all the preparations for the ODI is in final finishing, as separate pavilion has been dedicated to this match in Dhauladhar ranges which presents magnificent view of the Kangra Valley.

HPCA had already hosted four IPL matches at Dharamshala. This is the first time that Dharamshala will be hosting an ODI and tickets are available on www.kyazoonga.com, at specific retail outlets across Himachal Pradesh and at the stadium box office from January 20.

Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association is a governing body of cricket in Himachal Pradesh.  It is affiliated to the Board of Control for Cricket in India and is involved in the conduct of the game from the grass root level to the international level. “In the last ten years HPCA has created three world-class stadiums and we are committed to host more international matches in future in Himachal.”  Mr. Thakur said.
