Cold wave continues in Himachal, mercury improves slightly

The cold wave continues in Himachal Pradesh as it was partly cloudy in the state today but mercury improved slightly as night temperature was improved that of yesterday.

Keylong was low at minus 7 degrees Celsius that of minus 10 degrees of yesterday similarly Kalpa in Kinnuar was minus 2.5 degrees that of minus 4.6 degrees of yesterday. Manali was low at minus 0.4 degrees which was minus 3 degrees yesterday. Solan was low at minus 1 degrees, Sundernagar and Mandi 1 degrees each, Shimla and Bhuntar 2 degrees each, Una 3 degrees, Palampur 3.5 degrees, Nahan and Dharamshala 5 degrees each.

Met office forecast mainly dry weather in the state in next 24 hours.
