H.P. Governor visits trade fair


Himachal Pradesh Governor Urmila Singh today visited the Himachal pavilion in the ongoing India International Trade Fair (IITF) 2012 being held in Pragati Maidan, New Delhi where she was welcomed by senior officers. She took keen interest in the products showcased there.

Mrs. Singh appreciated the initiatives of various organizations in showcasing their products through exhibitions and asked them to make extra efforts to create market for their products at the National level. She also asked the organizations to actively participate in all National level fairs of the country and take vigorous steps for marketing their products. She also stressed for maintaining high quality and standards. She also added that there is a need for creating strong demand of Himachali products at National level and the quality products from the state need to be marketed under Himachali brands so as to promote state’s products under distinct branding.
