The mercury falls down in Himachal Pradesh following cold wave conditions prevailing in the state as world tourists resort Manali, Kalpa in Kinnaur were recorded at freezing point and Keylong in Lahaul & Spiti was recorded -3 degrees Celsius, the Met official said.

The Minimum temperature receded in the state following cold wave conditions were prevailing in this hill state as mercury dip by two to three degrees in last 24 hours forcing the people to bring out woolen and warm clothes as winter season onset with aggravating cold wave especially during the wee hours.

In the lower hills, minimum temperature of Solan and Bhuntar in Kullu was at 3 degrees each, Sundernagar in Mandi 4 degrees, the capital town and Palampur in Kangra district was 7.5 degrees each, Una 8.6 degrees, Nahan in Sirmour district at 9 degrees and Dharamsala and Mandi at 10 degrees each.

The Met office said that Dry weather conditions would continue in the state for next 24 hours.
