Himachal gets independent CBI office

Shimla: The Central Bureau of Investigation ( CBI) will have an independent office in Himachal Pradesh from January 1, thus ending its dependency on the Chandigarh office. The CBI will have a team of around 30 personnel in Himachal now headed by a joint director. It may be mentioned that CBI director Ashwani Kumar, who was DGP Himachal before moving to Delhi, had taken special interest in improving the law and order mechanism in the state. Joint director BL Soni is said to take over as the first head of the state unit of CBI.

  1. It is not to make CBI offices across the whole country, but to investigate in a correct way.

Hope the CBI will investigate all the pending/upcoming cases in a right way,not like Arushi's and other cases.
