Walking on the footsteps of  social activist Anna Hazare, who sat on a one-day fast at Jantar Mantar at New Delhi today dozen of youth gathered in front of Mahatam Gandi statue on the Ridge to raise the issue of corruption and protection to whistle blowers.

Youth alleged that Union and ruling state government were deliberately ignoring the voice of people who have been fighting against corruption. Nirpurn Thakur of  India against corruption told that Lokayukta in Himachal Pradesh should be strengthened by giving more power during on-going budget session as admitted by the state government before.

It is worthwhile to mention that same venue was rallying point during August 2011 agitation on the nation wide fast unto death by Anna Hazare.
