Himachal Assembly adjourned sine die



Dharamshala (Dec 23): Himachal Pradesh Assembly was today adjourned sine die after passing 7 bills during the five sittings held during the winter session at Tapovan here.

The house was addressed by Speaker Tulsi Ram, Chief Minister Prem Kumar Dumal and Opposition leader Vidya Stokes, conveying their wishes to people of the state and members of the House for New Year and Christmas.

The Speaker said 7 bills were laid, discussed and passed during this short session. Twenty-one reports were presented by different Assembly committees and eight issues were raised in the House under special mention. The assembly discussed each issues under rule 63, 101, 102 and 130. As many as 158 starred and 80 unstarred questions were taken up during the session.
