BSNL launches mobile connectivity in remotest village of HP

Recong-Peo (Kinnaur), Nov 29: Expanding mobile connectivity to one of the farthest and remotest corners in the country, government owned public sector mobile provider BSNL today launched its mobile connectivity in Namagya village.

Talking to Himvani, President, Gram Panchayat, Namagya Niragu Theerup said that three villages namely Namagya, Khab and Tashgang on Indo-Sino border have been linked with BSNL mobile services. He said that so far this village was not included by the BSNL in its service area because of security reasons, but as villagers were insisting to get village in coverage area, the remotest village was today commissioned with first mobile service.
