Rockstar’s hit song Saddaa Haq showcases locations from Dharamshala

    Dharamshala: Rockstar, the latest film to hit multiplex cinemas across India showcases various locations of Dharamshala in the hit song Saadda Haq. The songs video was shot at Norbulingka Monastery in Dharamshala and Connaught Place in Delhi. The song sung by the famous Himachali singer Mohit Chauhan and composed by A R Rehman has become a rage amongst the youth and social justice movements across India.

    A Wikipedia entry of the song suggests that the director Imtiaz Ali invited 200 performers from Shimla who had performed in his previous film Jab We Met. The song which was supposed to be performed as a background number but during the shooting of the song tin Dharamshala, he locals convinced Imtiaz to shoot this song as a live show.

    The cast and crew of Rockstar including Ranbir Kapoor and Nargis Fakhri were in Dharamshala last year in November to shoot for the film. While shooting for the film Ranbir Kapoor was spotted mingling with crowds at Norbulingka Monaestry, Mcleodganj and eating breakfast at the now famous Krishna Dhaba in Civil Lines area.

      rockstar proved to be a big hit and it definitely added to the tourism in Kangra
