Virbhadra's son elected to top Youth Congress post in Himachal

Shimla: Union Minister Virbhadra Singh’s son, Vikarmaditya Singh was elected asYouth Congress president amongst 14 candidate who stood for this election.

Poll Returning Officer (PRO) for YCC election Murli Shathi announced the result in Rajiv Gandhi Party state headquarters here today. He delcared that Vikarmaditya Singh got highest 5919 votes while Raghuvir Bali son of Congress MLA G.S. Bali 2434 and last three time YCC president Manmohan Katoch could managed just 457 votes when total 14 candidates were in fray for race of YCC top post.

It was worthwhile to mention here that this battle has become proxy war between Union Minister Virbhadra Singh and party senior leader G.S Bali for which both leader reportedly used their influence and resources to draw votes in favour of their respective son’s.
