Nahan. (Aug 16): Four children were buried alive when a two storey building of Sunder Singh at village Chhitbar Panog collapsed today morning due to heavy rain. Those died were identified as Ammana and Munish both sisters and their brother Manoj, all children of Sunder Singh and Ankush s/o Zalim Singh.
SHO Paonta Balak Ram confirmed the deaths and said that retaining wall at the back of house gave way which damaged the house. He said that Sunder Singh, his wife and mother were admitted to hospital with serious injuries.
He said that dead bodies of the children were handed over to their relatives after postmortem.
Apart from this one student was washed away in a rivelut in Kullu distirct while six persons injured in Mandi district today.
