Dozen feared killed as pvt bus plunges into river in Himachal

    Chamba (Aug 10): About a dozen people are deared to have died as a private bus travelling from Banjhardu village of Tissa sub-division of Chamba district plunged into swollen Bihali river this morning, senior police officials confirmed.

    SP Chamba Madhu Sudhan Sharma, who rushed to spot, said over phone that the bus carrying 25 peoople from Banjhardu village, left for Dalhousie at 730 am this morning and plunged down into Bihali river as the driver could not control the bus while it was crossing Tissa bridge, killing about a dozen persons and injuring many others. Three bodies were fished out from the river while rescue operation was on.
