Shimla (Aug 9): The Shimla district unit of ABVP today blockd the road at Victory tunnel here for an hour this morning, protesting against corruption and price rise in the country on the nationwide call given by BJP Yuava Morcha.
About 60 activists of ABVP gathered under the leadership of Ajay Bhairta, state general secretary, at Victory tunnel here and staged dharana on the way, which lasted form 11,30 am till 12.30 in the afternoon.
The protesters also shouted slogans against the central government for not curbing corruption and failing to check the rising prices of essential commodities.
