Midday meal in Madarsa : DC



Una: Deputy Commissioner Una K.R.Bharti said that midday meal would be  started in two Madarsa located in Una and Amb town of the district, as  these have not been covered under the program so-far. This decision was taken in order to extend  the benefit of midday meals to children belonging to minority in the state.

Decision was taken during district welfare meeting attended by CDPO and District  panchayat raj representative.  Midday meals were started in all other government run schools up to elementary level in the state and district is offering this facility  to 550 schools, which would now be extended for the welfare of minority  students taking education in Madarsa.
