Keylong: Resource person of Himachal Pradesh State Electricity Board Anurag Prasher while delivering information about centrally sponsored rural  electrification  scheme at the opening of the  three day Bharat Nirman Public Information Campaign said  that avalanche prone four tribal villages in Lahaul Spiti district would be ensured round the clock power supply.

People representatives from Tandi and Mayarr  of Udiapur subdivision and Rarik and Yachai villages of Lahaul subdivision drew the attention of officials towards the frequent interruptions in LT supply lines by sliding avalanches.  Anurag Prasher assured that HPSEB would provide 1500 meter power cable to Tandi and Mayarr villages for which board has already approved the plan, which has been sent to the state government. Similarly, a high voltage transformer will be installed at Darchha Panchayat to sort out disrupting power supply to Rarik and Yachai villages.
