Solan (July 7): A bypass connecting Haryana and Himachal Pradesh, starting from Pinjore and ending at Parwanoo, will be ready for commissioing by end of this year, an official said today.
A spokesperson for the National Highways Authority of India told HimVani
that 80% of work on the Pinjore-Kalka-Parwanoo bypass is completed. It is expected to be motorable by December. “Traffic snarls between Pinjore and Parwanoo are common. When the bypass is in use, motorists will save on traveling time and distance. The bypass would technically avoid Pinjore, Kalka and Parwanoo,” he said.
