Una (July 1): DMEU (Diesel Electrical Multiple Unit) broad-gauge train
(74991/74992) service, plying on the Ambala-Una route, and scheduled to be extended up to Amb Andaura today, could not be started due to collision of time table, a railway official said here today.
Hamirpur Lok Sabha Member Anurag Thakur was to flag off this train at
6 am todat from Una to Amb Andaura, a distance of 35 km, but was postponed due to collisionof time table with other services. The train’s new schedule will be announced later, an official of Northern Railways informed.
The Train Route must be extended to atleast Hamirpur, HP. As already extended rail route to Amb Andura is not sufficient.
