Omar Abdhulla’s wife and children have narrow escape while river rafting

Shimla: Jammu & Kashmir Chief Minister Omur Abdhulla’s wife and two children had a narrow escape today when their boat over turned in the river near Kullu, district administration confirmed.

Deputy Commissioner Kullu B.M.Nanta said that Omar Abdhulla’s wife and their two teenaged sons were rafting when their rafting boat suddenly over turned in Beas River this afternoon.  He said that rescue boat immediately rushed to save them and they were brought ashore. The three were later carried to the hospital for first aid and were later discharged. B.M.Nanta said that the condition of the three were normal.
