Rain affected NH-22& 88 restored



Shimla: Two main roads of state, National Highway Hindustan Tibet NH-22 and Shimla-Dharmshala NH-88 were thrown open today afternoon after being blocked by landslides after Friday Morning heavy rains.

The report received from Kinnuar said that road communication was restored after removing heavy rock from the Hindustan Tibet road near Nathpa this afternoon at 1:00 pm where thousands of vehicles were stranded on the both the sides of the road. Meanwhile, NH-88 blocked near Kalihati about 35 km from here was also restored this morning after being blocked by dislodging of hills during road widening.
