Shimla (Jun 5): Himachal Pradesh Sarv Karamshchari Mahasangh willhold a rally at Sabjimandi ground here on June 21, 2011, to press for their demand regarding implementation of the 5th Pay Commission recommendations to release allowances and others issues about the state and Corporate sector employees.
Addressing media persons here today, HPSKM chairman Govind Chantranta said that a memorandum has been submitted to Chief Minister Prem Kumar Dhumal on June 1, 2011, in which employees have drawn his attention about thier issues. He said that they were suffering a loss fo Rs 2,500-3,500 per month due to non-release of the revised pay allowances committed by the government earlier. Arrears accrued on account of revised pay scale with effect from January 2006 has not been remitted in full till now, he added.
The employees leader said that middle class employees (the major chunk of employees in the state) of government and cooperate Sectors are still waiting for grant on enhanced allowances and other benefits which appears to be a step-motherly treatment given to lower class employees.
