Shimla: Indian Cellular Chamber has shown keen interest to set up mobile manufacturing units in the Himachal Pradesh. Himachal Pradesh Industry Minister Kishan Kapoor today met a high level delegation of Indian Cellular Association headed by National President Pankaj Mohindru at New Delhi.
A press statement released by the official of state government said that Industries minister convinced the industry that state govt. was keen to set up clean and environmental friendly industries and told that representative of cellular industries. It also said that state govt. will hold detailed discussions in Shimla shortly to chalk out the investment plans for speedy clearances of all the proposals in this regard. He discussed various industrial areas where the state govt. has land bank that it can offer to the cellular industries for setting up the units and suggested for a separate hub for cellular industries for integrated growth of the industries sothat the specific facilities could be developed as per the needs of the industries.
