Shimla: The Himachal Pradesh government, which last year had banned littering in public places and the use of polythene bags, today launched a campaign for effective implementation of the orders. While a fine of Rs 50 will be imposed on persons found guilty of littering in Shimla town, the government has also pressed into service eco clubs across schools in Shimla to implement the Seeti Bajao-Shimla Bachao’ (blow whistle-save Shimla) campaign.
