Shimla motorcycle challenge competition

Shimla: Yogesh Lakhani of Chandigarh, Sanjay Kumar and Piyush Chauhan of Shimla won the first round of Shimla Motorcycle Challenge competition in class II, class IV and Himachal categories, respectively today. Twenty-five motorcyclists from north India, including Chandigarh, Ludhiana, Jammu and Delhi participated in the event.
Rajan Sidhu from Ludhiana, who was defending his overall lead in the first round finished second in the category II today.
The event was held on a 7.5 kilometer track in Shoghi, near Shimla. The second round would be held in August and the final round in November. The event is supported by Himachal Pradesh Tourism and Department of Youth and Sports Services.
