Shimla (May 30): Heavy rain and thunderstorm lashed many parts of Himachal Pradesh during the last 24 hours as the Western Disturbances creating inclement weather conditions in the state.
Sundernagar in Mandi had 58 mm rainfall, Jhandutta in Bilaspur 50 mm, Bangana in Una 26 mm, Gohar in Mandi 25 mm, Ghumarwin in Balaspur 21 mm, Ponta sahib in Sirmour 18 mm. Mehre and Sujanpur Tera in Hamirpur 17 and 15 mm respectively, Shimla, Baldwara in Mandi & Kasol in Bilaspur 14 mm each and Karsog in Mandi 13 mm respectively.
Minimum temperature at Shimla and Bhuntar was 13 degree Celcius each, Sundernagar 15.3 degrees, Kalpa 7.7 degrees, Una, Nahan and Dharamshala 19 degrees each , Mandi 17 degrees, Keylong 6.6 dgrees, Palampur 18 degrees and Solan 16 degrees.
Maximum temperature of Shimla was 25.4 degrees, Dharamshala, Sundernagar and Mandi 32.6 degrees each, Bhuntar 33 degrees, Kalpa 20.4 degrees,
Una 34.8 degrees, Nahan 30.8 degrees and Solan 31.6 degrees.
The Met office said that rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at isolated parts of high reaches and few places in middle hills of the state during next 24 hours.
