Shimla (May 22): Vijay Kumar of Himachal won the seventh quota place for India in the 2012 Olympics on his way to the silver medal win in 25m Rapid Fire Pistol at the ISSF World Cup, Fort Benning, Atlanta on Saturday.
Vijay Kumar is the gold medalist of Commonwealth Shooting Championship and Commonwealth Games, both held at New Delhi in 2010. He was conferred Arjuna Award during the year 2006.
