Shimla: Devastating fire broke out in three-storey wooden building at Kogtu hamlet under Chhachhpur area in Jubbal subdivision of this district this morning.
House belonged to Joginder Singh and his two younger brothers. It caught fire 8:30 am from a fire place when the family was at field for work. Fire spread in the entire building in short time and could not be controlled, as no fire tender could be deployed due to no road connectivity. The revenue official visited the spot and provided relief to the effected families as per fire manual and estimated loss of Rs 35 lakh in the mishap.
