Shimla: In a gruesome incident father killed his 4 year old son and 6year old daughter after stabbing them at isolated place in Jangalberi area of Sujanpur Tiera of Hamirpur distirct, 200 km from here this afternoon.
Concerned Investigation Officer and SHO Sujanpur Police Station Ramesh Thakur said that Vice President of Gram Panchayat Bhupinder informed police about the incident in the village, which swung police into action. When they reached the spot they recovered dead bodies of Deepali(6) and Depanshu(4) near their house. The eye witness informed the police that crime was committed by father of deceased Kushal Raj who was absconding after the committing this gruesome act.
Police has sent the bodies to regional Hospital Hamirpur for postmortem. The case has been registered under section 302 of IPC on the father of the deceased. The crime was committed between 10:30 am to 1:30 pm. The accused carried the two children to a nearby isolated place. The police is investigating the motive behind this crime. Ramesh Thakur said that police could only reveal more details about this case after nabbing the accused who is still at large. However, he denied that accused was drunken or mentally depressed before committing this crime.
