6.5 kg cannabis seized

Parwanoo: The Himachal Pradesh police today nabbed one person allegedly trying to smuggle 6.5 kg of cannabis priced around Rs 7 lakh in the international market. The accused was arrested from a bus near Dharampur on the Shimla-Kalka national highway.

On seeing the police, the accused, carrying cannabis in the form of soap cakes in a bag, reportedly panicked and tried to flee but was caught. The contraband was reportedly brought from Kullu.

Admittedly, the drug treatment cost nowadays are getting higher, but doing nothing about a loved one’s addiction will prove to be more costly in the end.
