Rabindranath Tagore film fest at IIAS



Shimla (Apr 30): On the occasion of the 150th birth anniversary of Rabindranath Tagore, the Indian Institute of Advanced Study has organised a film festival on his short stories and novels that have been adapted into films by Bengali filmmakers.

During the last day of the Film Festival on *1 May 2011 (Sunday)* following
films will be screened: A Documentary on Rabindranath Tagore by Satyajit Ray at 11 am, Khokababur Pratyabartan by Naresh Mitra at 2.00 pm and Choker Bali by Rituporno Ghosh at 5.00 pm. The Venue of the films is Pool Theatre, Indian Institute of Advanced Study, Shimla. Entry to the films is free.
