Shimla (April 15): The Met office has forecast more rain or snow in Himachal Pradesh in the next four days, following fresh Western turbulences approaching the state, which is likely to affect the state for next 3 to 4 days.
State metrological director Manmohan Singh said that owning to synoptical feature in the weather, yesterday’s Western Disturbance over J&K as an upper air system has moved eastwards. Another Western Disturbance lies over N-Pakistan and would affect the state for next 3 to 4 days.
The state was mainly dry during last 24 hrs except Bangana in Una which recorded 4 mm rain and Rohru 2 mm. The temperature slightly improved in the state as Keylong in Lahaul Spiti was cold at minus 0.4 degree Celsius, Kalpa in Kinnaur 3.5 degrees, Bhuntar in Kullu 9.8 degrees, Shimla and Solan 10 degrees each, and Dharamsala 11.7 degrees respectively. Minimum in Sundernagar was 12 degrees, Mandi town 13 degrees. Una 14 degrees, Palampur in Kangra 15.7 degrees and Nahan in Sirmaur 19.7 degrees, respectively.
