According to Lalit Kapoor, president of the Bar association, on the requisition of advocates a general house of Mandi District Bar Association was convened where most of advocates apprised the house that the day to day functioning of the said additional sessions judge was not good. It was further alleged by the advocates that the presiding officer takes pleasure in filing complaint against the advocates to Bar Council of Himachal over patty and insignificant matters and the judge does not accommodate advocates even on genuine grounds.

According to Sameer Kashyap, general secretary of the Bar association, the resolution was sent to the Chief Justice for consideration. He further said that soon a delegation of members would meet the Chief Justice and appraise him problem being faced by them.
