Shimla (Apr 6): Tourists destination Manali experienced another spell of snowfall as 5cm snow (along with 12 cm rain) was recorded during last 24 hours in the town, while there are reports of more snowfall on high reaches thus once again creating cold weather conditions in the state.
Keylong, headquarter of Lahaul-Spiti district had seven centimetres of snow and recorded a low of minus 1.1 degree Celsius while Kalpa had a trace of snow and was low at two degrees. In Chamba district, Tissa had 10 mm rain and Saloni 5mm, Seobagh and Banjar in Kullu, and Sangla in Kinnaur 1 mm each.
Minimum temperature of Shimla, Solan and Bhuntar (Kullu) was 9.2 degrees each, Sundernagar and Dharmshala 10.5 degrees each, Una and Mandi 12 degrees each, Nahan in Sirmaur 21.3 degrees and Palampur 13 degrees, respectively.
The Met office said that rain or snow are likely to occur at few places in the high reaches, and rain or thunder showers in isolated parts of middle hills during next 24 hours.
