Dharamsala (March 31): After spending three days in McLeod Ganj, where she met the Dalai Lama, former Miss Universe Sushmita Sen today returned back to Delhi.
Before leaving, the actress said that this was her first visit to the town and “it turned out to be really wonderful and touched her soul”. She said that she was pleased to find the Tibetan culture and religious values flourishing in the streets of McLeod Ganj.
Expressing her feelings, she said that here morning starts with the chanting of mantras and the day ends with the holy prayers, which was really amazing. The beautiful actress was impressed by the beauty of the town surrounded by Dhauladhar hills. Tenzin, a student in the institute of Tibetan higher Education, who met her, said, “She is a kind-hearted lady with wished to visit the place again.”
