Mayawati arrives in Shimla for Himachal campaigning



Shimla: Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) supremo, Mayawati arrived in Shimla on Friday. She is expected to address six rallies all over the state in the next eight days, including Shimla, Dharamshala, Sundernagar, Baddi, Una and Nurpur.

She was received at Annadale Helipad here by party’s Himachal affairs in-charge Man Singh Manhera and state BSP Convenor Vijai Singh Mankotia. She later came to the Oberoi Cecil Hotel in Shimla. On Saturday she would address a rally at the Ambedkar Chawk (Chaura Maidaan) here.
