Bharat Nirman Public Information Campaign concludes

Shimla: Three-day Bharat Nirman Public Information Campaign concluded at Nahan in Sirmour district today.  The third day was dedicated to the National Rural Health Mission and other issues related to the health facilities being provided in the state.

At the concluding function, the chief guest, State Health Minister Rajiv Bindal  while speaking on the various health facilities being provided to the common people said that PIB and other media units are playing a significant role in creating awareness among people in rural areas about the various state and central welfare schemes so that benefit of these programmes could percolate down to the grass root level.

Health Minister has also announced to launch ‘Mother Tracking Scheme’ to improve institutional delivery in the state. Under this program, the record of pregnant women in the state will be maintained well before time so that all the medical precautionary measures could be taken on time.
