Shimla: Mahle Filter Systems (India) Ltd, the country’s leading manufacturer and exporter of automotive filters today announced the commissioning of its 2nd plant at Parwanoo in Himachal Pradesh. The new plant caters to the company’s existing and new customers like Ashok Leyland, Tata Motors, M&M, GM and Bosch. It will also cater to the requirements of the replacement market in India and overseas.
Speaking on the occasion, Mahle Filter Systems India CEO Sunil Nair said that the plant will generate annual revenue of Rs 25 crore. “The proposed installed capacity of the plant is expected to be 22 million filters per annum,” he said in a statement. Member, Deep C Anand Foundation, Anand Automotive Group K C Anand said, “At the initial stage, the 45th plant of Anand Group will generate direct and indirect employment for more than 150 people and increased production in future will result in further job opportunities.”
