Una (March 26): Six people died and 31 were injured as a tempo carrying them overturn on the road while it was returning from Bababalak Nath temple to Kapurthala district of Punjab here today.
Deputy commissioner KR Bharti said that the Ill-fated vehicle (PB09-2941) rolled down at Tanoh near Lathani village killing six on the spot while injuring 31 others, who were rushed to CHC Bangana. The victims belonged to Kuka Talwandi village of Kapurthala district of Punjab. The deceased were identified as Karshmir Singh, Kulvind, Titu, Hoshiyar Singh, Amarik Singh and Manpreet Sing.
