Shanta Kumar falls unconscious in Punjab rally

Chandigarh (Mar 23): BJP vice-president Shanta Kumar fell unconscious during a rally organised by the SAD-BJP government in Punjab on the occasion of Martyrdom Day of Shaheed Bhagat Singh at Khatkar Kalan on Wednesday. BJP sources told HimVani that Shanta Kumar fell unconscious when Punjab Deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Singh Badal was delivering his speech on the occasion. He was brought to PGI in Chandigarh for treatment. Shanta Kumar had already spoken in the rally before Badal began his address.

  1. well i feel sympathy for Mr shanta Kumar , as he suffered heart attack , But i would like to also add that these political personality whenever get in to trouble only than they know the value of doctors until they do not bother about the health facilities made available to common man is sufficient or not.Doctors in gov’t setup are over burden, exhausted and kept on contract basis and when they are such they are not able give there best .Infrastructure is worst .medical college in himachal specially IGMC which is around 60 years old still struggling to put 100 students and govt. is giving permission to 6 more private colleges so the professors etc which are working in govt’ colleges also leave and join the private institutes . If our netas keep on thinking like this than we are not far away from that period when Govt; health institutes will be just remained as centers to do only paper work ……….
