State Assembly adjourned for 8 days break

Shimla: Himachal Pradesh Assembly currently in budget session from Feb 28th, 2011 has been adjourned for eight days long break .i.e. from Mar 19 to 27, 2011, Speaker announced today in the assembly.

The break has been taken to allow the officials of Vidhan Sabha and state government to decide the budgetary demand of various departments for which the funds would be allotted to respective departments after cut motions on the demands by the members of house. The house was in three month long session, as it commenced with address of Governor Urimla Singh on Feb 28, 2011 and Chief Minister presented the year 2011-12 budget on March 9, 2011.
