Shimla: Himachal Pradesh government has ordered promotion of six police officers comprising five of Himachal Pradesh Police Service (HPS) while an inspector rank officer has been elevated to DSP with immediate effect, a government official informed. Himachal Pradesh Police Service(HPS) officer serving as DSP namely Rakesh Singh, Arvind Chaudhary, Gulab Singh, Sandeep Kumar Bhardwaj and Yogesh Kumar Guleria have been elevated to ASP, while Bhwan Dass Bhatia inspector has been elevated to DSP at their respective places
