Shimla: After finding meek response from concerned authorities over October 28, 2010 ‘Suo-Moto’ case taken up by Himachal Pradesh High court on the letter of a class-V standard student Bipasha Srivastva regarding lack of parks in shimla, the court has sought filling of affidavit from the state top functionary and subordinate authority over the progress in the matter.

In an order passed by the division bench of Himachal Pradesh High Court comprising Chief Justice Kurian Joseph and Justice V.K. Ahuja, “This is a very important matter, as it concerns with the growing children, but it appears that owing to lack of interdepartmental coordination, there is perceptible progress in the matter. “While hearing this case, the bench has directed State Chief secretary Rajwant Sandhu to convene a conference of Principal Secretary (Power), Pr. Secretary (Forests), Pr. Secretary (Urban Development), M.C. Commissioner and any other stake holder in the matter. The court has fixed next date for hearing April 4, 2011.
