15 from Himachal to join Sikh Jatha to Pakistan

Shimla (Feb 19): A government Spokesperson today said a jatha of 3000 Sikhs pilgrims from India would visit Pakistan on the occasion of Baisakhi and tour visit historic gurdwaras for 10 days, starting from April 11 to 20. He said that the quota allotted to Himachal Pradesh was for only 15 pilgrims and applicants would be considered strictly on first-come first-serve basis. The last date announced for receiving the applications by the government of India is March 7, 2011.
