Shimla: Police succeeded in nabbing three Charas peddlers. They were carrying it in a vehicle while intercepting a special ‘nakka’ near Chhaila of Theog subdivision, a police source said.
Team lead by SHO Theog had set a ‘nakka’, as they had been tipped about the crime. The team recovered 1 kilo and 700 gram charas from a car. Later, police lodged the case under various sections of NDPS Act and took the accused in custody to be produced before the court for seeking further remand. The accused were identified as Sunil, Krishan and Daleep, resident of nearby villages.
