10 ft. snow at Hudan Bhtori area of Pangi

Chamba: Reports received from Pangi subdivision of Chamba district said that 10 feet thick snowfall is mounting before the houses at Hudan Bhtori village, making life difficult and it was still snowing when the reports last came in.

Normal life in the Killard, headquater of Pangi tribal subdivision was almost cut off from rest of nation. Meanwhile, Sub Divisonal Officer Pangi Karam Singh has cautioned the people to remain inside their homes, as they might become victims of avalanches. In addition, Hudan Bhotori and Sural Bhatori also have been cut off from the road as there is four to five feet thick snow on the way. Public Works Department snow cutters have been pressed to clear the snow mounted on the road. .
