CM expresses grief over killing of Kumari Manisha



Shimla: Chief Minister Prem Kumar Dhumal has expressed grief over the killing of Manisha Kumari, daughter of Yash Pal of Chirgaon of Shimla. She was shot dead by the CRPF Jawan posted at the stadium to protect the players. She was coming back from the practice at Moin-ul-Haq stadium, Patna. It is reported that after the practice CRPF jawan Jaswant Singh followed her and asked for her mobile number. When she refused, the jawan fired seventeen rounds from his AK-47 and then shot himself too.

Chief Minister said that Kumari Manisha has maintained her identity as emerging sportsman at National-level. He said that with demise of talented sportsman, the state has lost a good player. He conveyed his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family members. He also prayed the Almighty to give peace to the departed soul and strength to the family members to bear the irreparable loss.
