Ethics committee for Tanda medical college

Shimla (Jan 23): To prevent incidents of indiscipline in Dr Rajinder Prasad Government Medical College, Tanda, the state government has now constituted an ‘ethics committee’ for smooth functioning of the institution.

Himachal Pradesh Governor Urmila Singh constituted the committee with Padam Shree Dr Kshma Metreiya as its chairperson, and Dr Parveen Sharma as member secretary. According to principal of college, Dr Anil Chauhan, it would take care of research related activities, which involves human aspects and thorough examination of the projects. The committee would also look into the functioning and teaching of UG and PG students in the medical college.
