Shimla: The state is currently in the grip of intense cold wave and is not expected to come out of it soon, as Meterological department here today announced fresh rain or snow in middle and high reaches for next 2 days. The Meterolgical office Shimla today forecast fresh inclement weather conditions in the state. However, the weather is predicted to be mainly dry in the plain or foothills of state.
Further, Keylong in Lahaul Spiti recorded coldest when mercury plunged to minus 16.8 degree Celsius followed by Kalpa in Kinnaur with minus six degrees, Solan with minus 0.8 degrees, Bhuntar in Kullu with minus 0.6 degrees Celsius, Sundernagar in Mandi with minus 0.6 degrees, Shimla and Mandi with one degrees each, Una and Palampur of Kangar two degrees each, Dharamshala 2.5 degrees and Nahan at four degrees.
